Noon Hour at the PRR Shops, Renovo, PA. Postcard c. 1930s
I was the last General Forman locomotive and cars to work in Renovo Pa. before it closed and moved to Newberry Pa. Renovo was a great place to work as they had a dedicated employees. I revisited Renovo in 2016 stayed at YMCA now called Yesterdays. Great place good food, very friendly employees, had some time to spend with one of the owners. there is a lot to see Hyner look out if you go to reservoir you can see the Elk come down the mountain to drink. I walked across the bridge many times to eat lunch at socky’s.
